The sinister population will be disappointed...Dec 08, 2011

DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU'RE LEFT HANDED! the tapered blade is only on one side of the knife. So if you're, say, trying to peel an apple using the knife in your left hand, the cutting surface will be facing AWAY from you and not making contact with the apple. I know most knives are designed for right-handed use, but this is the first one I've tried that simply cannot be modified for left-handed use. I wanted to like it, it's a great length for small paring jobs, but I'm not willing to become right-handed to use it! Otherwise, has a decent heft for the price and the tang seems pretty sturdy.

Good quality for the priceJun 26, 2011
By Trigirl22 I ordered this knife with plans of practicing tourne cuts. The knife is light and easy to handle. I do wish it had come with a sheath as I have to transport my knives but other than that I think it is a good knife for the price.

You get more then you pay for in this productSep 05, 2010
By N. Nichols I have a complete set of the Wusthof Classic line of knives and decided to buy a set of these cheaper Wusthofs for my vacation property. I have been very impressed with how well they work. I've owned them for several months now and they work very well. I am an avid cook but since these are in the vacation home they don't get used nearly as often as the classics I own at home. I wouldn't buy these over the Classic line but if I was just starting out in life or not an avid cook and needed something affordable, these are the perfect knives for the price.

GREAT PEELERDec 05, 2009

This is a nice little knife for peeling apples, etc. The curve of the blade makes it easier to peel fruits/veggies as opposed to a regular straight paring knife. The knife is pretty specific in it's use. It is only sharpened on the curved side (as you would expect). For the job it is designed to do, it works fine.
