Does what it is suppose to doOct 21, 2011

After reading a lot of reviews about this product I finally purchased it. As other reviewers already mentioned it works OK with white wines but works perfect with red wines. It takes about one and a half hours to get the red wine to the desired temperature. You really cannot use it in the room you are eating in. It makes a loud, white noise swishing sound that can be aggravating.

I love this wine chiller. Works great and goes with all my Kitchenaide and Cuisinart pink kitchen stuff.

I have owned this product for over three years now and it is still working very well. It gets the temperature just right for any varietal but it does take around two hours for certain whites and sparkling wines.
The only problem I have ever had is that the display stopped working for about a year about a year into ownership. I could still use it but I couldn't read varietal on the screen. All of sudden about six months ago the display starting working again. Go figure!
