Modified product for larger TVAug 02, 2010

First, I was very impressed with every aspect of the stand (design, quality and especially the packaging) but I purchased it for use with a larger 65" flat screen weighing 105# (less than the 130# product limit). I did not use the shelf and mounted the TV with bottom of the screen only 21" off the floor so the mid point of the screen was 37" off the floor which was eye level with our low couches. The lower height increased stability and works for me although the fctory does not recommend use of the stand with anything larger than 50".

i've looked every where online for a new plasma stand. i currently own ikea tv stand and its extremely low. i've owned a sanus euro series a/v stand and i found the flat panel pffp. i purchase this flat panel unit from ebay for $304. shipped. the unit arrived in a large heavy box. i had to get the concierge to help me move it up to my home. every thing was very well packed and nothing was broken when arrived. installation took me about 30-40 minutes, it was quite easy. to hardest part was hooking my 50" plasma on the unit. its hard if your doing it yourself. this hook up requires two people to hang the plasma on the unit. overall, i love it. it makes my plasma look even BIGGER.

Looks WAY better in person. The post on mine is silver, which didnt bother me. It was very easy to put together as everything is clearly labeled and the TV was easy to mount. I'm SO happy with it. Shows finger prints like crazy though.

For a kit, this was fairly hassle free. The visuals were good, and altough the parts could have been marked more clearly, the written instructions and the pictures made it fairly straight forward. The quality of the parts was good but not outstanding. Putting the large support bar on the stand required a little elbow grease since the parts did not match precisely,but this was really the only hurdle. With a little help in this phase, one person can put this together in around an hour. The design is functional and good looking, and the mount is universal. All in all a very good option if you don't want to wall mount or a conspicuous console.

Just bought it depends on the other customer review. As they say, very well packing. Good quality and easy to install. Definitely worth for every penny you spend on it.
