DisappointedNov 10, 2010
By Joseph Medugno This system is supposed to play MP3s. It does not! It also will not play "homemade" cds. The main reason I purchased this product was to play MP3s and I am very disappointed.

for all of your mp3 and cd disksOct 07, 2010
By Christopher Beck So far it plays very good (only had for 1 month, so far) For price as well as sound, its a great buy. it plays MP3 and CD disks. speakers are detachable, so if you wanted to put bigger or different ones, you can. radio plays ok to, but I don't really use radios any more. station ajustment not to bad, better than most I've used in the past. ALSO has a remote
UPDATE 01-30-11: AFTER 5 months of use, it sometimes stops playing cd's, turn it off and then on and it plays again. It does not like to be played for real long periods of time. I was playing it all night long with the replay feature and also all weekend, can no longer continue doing that as it will stop not long after first replay starts, but not always
Still a decent product for money paid, still has great sound. I would buy this item again if the one I have quits working altogether.
This unit is good for playing books on cd's or mp3's
5-5-11 unit still has great sound, only problem now is that sometimes it quits playing, so I end up hitting it to get it to play again. hoping thier new modle works better. still all in all not a bad buy

Very good sound for the $$Jan 14, 2011
By Java Granny This Cd player has a very good sound for such a small unit and the price was Great. Has the sound of a much more expensive amp/tuner. The hang on the wall feature it great too.
What a waste...May 16, 2011
By Brian Coppola The main unit itself is "iffy" at best. Sometimes it will not find the cd or lose it midway through playing. Turn it off and back on and it finds the disc. Annoying.
THE SOUND though... It's horrible. The speakers are glorified headphones. They sound so bad it's unreal. Luckily I had an old pair of computer speakers, which I plugged into the headphone jack of the unit. That got the sound a lot better. But it's still really bad. The equalizer settings are just one extreme to another, so you can't find a simple balance of bass and treble.
Don't waste your money on this. I made the mistake of thinking it was a good price, and now I regret it. Spend a little more, get a LOT more.
piece of junkApr 09, 2011
By KDII Went through two of them. After a few weeks CD started skipping, uncontrollably, for no reason. Sound quality also is quite poor but that doesn't really matter if you can't play music yo begin with. Do yourself a favor. Spend an extra 30 bucks and buy a nicer one. I ended up getting an RCA for about $80.
