1DO NOT BUY I GIVE IT A ZERO RATINGAug 06, 2009

Buyer beware of Princess International (Princess Mr-148 fridge/warmer) and TECHTOOLS. DO NOT BUY
I purchased the Princess Mr-148 and from the start it did not cool properly. Eventually it began rising into the 40s and then the 50's during the day without opening it within the first two weeks of use. The unit is made in Hong Kong and has only a 30 day warranty. Now I see why. The warranty says to return it to TECHTOOLS at 1572 61st Street in Brooklyn NY 11219 for repair or replacement, no other info. I contacted Joseph Friedman at Princess International to see if there was anything else I had to do to return it. He never replied after I finally got through his spam control. So I then followed the warranty directions and spent another $20 to ship the unit to TECHTOOLS return receipt. TECHTOOLS refused the delivery event thought it stated Princess MR-148 for repair or replacement. So it sits in the post office waiting to be returned unworkable back to me. The unit has a switch on the back which makes the fan silent even though it does not affect the heating and cooling. So why is the switch there in the first place so you can hear a loud fan. How stupid is that.
In any event if you want to throw your money away try the casinos not the Princess MR-148 I wish I had.PS I had to give it one star in order to rate it that is one star too much.

1Dont buy this thing, it's junkDec 29, 2010

I have had it for two days and I can't get it below 56F with only a few items in it. I am going to buy a 200W peliter and remove the broken/under powered one from this thing myself. Since it appears no one can get a hold of TechTOOLS.

1DO NOT BUYMar 07, 2011
By S. Dobson
Other than it good looks it does absolutely nothing as far as cooling. I even tried going to local repair shops hoping that someone would be able to fix it but no luck. I resorted to that only after contacting ToolTech who was no help at all. Save your money, time and a major headache and just don't buy this piece of junk.

1Advice from a previous fridge purchaserFeb 06, 2011
By juge456
I bought this fridge for my son. It worked for 2 months then KAPUT..Nada..nothing. I thought it was a good idea but his disappointment is equal to mine. Don't waste your $$ on this product. The 30 day warranty should have raised the red flag. Let this review do the same.

1Terrible - worked for 3 daysJul 07, 2010
By Woo! "terribleshadows"
Well, let's see. At the time of my writing this, my fridge is cooling my beverages at a refreshing 81 degrees, while the setting is set to 36 degrees. The total time that this product worked *properly* was about 3 days. After this, I noticed the temperature slowly creeping up to where it is now. This cooler, even when operating correctly is underpowered, opting to use a thermoelectric cooling method as opposed to a refrigerant. Additionally, I was underwhelmed by its very cheap construction as well.

Seriously, avoid this thing.
