This is our everyday set. We got one set as a wedding gift and I like the weight, look and pattern so much that we bought another set and got rid of our old stuff. This is so much nicer than the cheap stuff we had since college.

I ordered these on Amazon and received them in less than a week. They are beautiful and very well made! The extra matching design at the top of each piece makes them even more beautiful! They are very shiny and I have no doubt they will last for years to come.

This was a gift for my daughter in law. She had previously purchased this at another store and needed more. I went on Amazon, found the flatware and ordered it for her. The price was better, no need to check stock at every other store and it was sent to her without any problem. My rating is based on the fact that she would not have wanted more if there had been any previous problems with her prior purchase.

My husband recently purchased this flatware for me for my birthday--after using the same set for the past 15 years, we were ready for an upgrade. The Stanhope pattern is even more attractive than it appears in the photo: the silver is very shiny and glossy, and the matte swirls are quite eye-catching and unique. Another nice factor is that it's a rare gender-neutral pattern, yet it's definitely pretty enough for more feminine kitchens as well as for serving to company! Each piece in this set is a bit over-sized--we have found the forks in particular to be slightly longer than what we are used to--yet the bottom stems are actually slightly narrower than our former flatware pattern, so they fit fine in the slots of our dishwasher as well as in our drawer dividers. Furthermore, although the individual pieces are fairly lightweight, they are also extremely sturdy. Plus, because they are made in one piece, there are no seams on any of the items. And finally, after regular washing in the dishwasher for about a month now, I can detect no marring, rusting, or any other type of discoloration. (Note: we ARE following the manufacturer's instructions not to let the flatware soak in water at all.) We have definitely been very happy with this product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
