other utensils are better...May 18, 2010
By Umm Hamza This set is good quality, however my daughter only used the fork and spoon for a short time before moving on the larger child utensil set. Every now and then I still let her use the fork to eat a snack like small pieces of fruit, etc. but I've since purchased extra dessert forks that are the same size as the child's fork (and a lot cheaper!) I didn't find the feeding spoon useful at all. The edge of the spoon seemed to hurt my younger daughter's sensitive gums (from age 6 month on) so I used stainless steel dessert spoons instead (they are teaspoon sized with a long handle). In retrospect, I would skip getting the Onedia baby or child set and just buy stainless steel dessert forks, dessert spoons, and teaspoons. They are practically the same size and you can get a pack of 4 each for less than the cost of these sets. You wouldn't get the small butter knife though...

Well made but not very functionalJan 27, 2008
By hools My daughter didn't get much use out of this set as the small fork and spoon are very small. I recommend getting the three piece (knife, fork and spoon) Oneida child cutlery set instead, which is fabulous -- the pieces are bigger but still easy to handle, and our toddler, now verging on preschool age, has used it for a long period of time.

Fork is too shortAug 04, 2009
By Anna D. Ojanen I love this set. The fork is too short though, even for the first bites your child ever takes on his/her own. I mean, it works, but it is just on the short side and looks awkward.
Great for little ones!Mar 05, 2011
By D.J. I have purchased a different set for each of my grandchildren to pass on to their little ones. Very nice utensil sets! I just love the feeding spoon, regular wide spoon and fork set as these are the utensils the little ones use first.
18 Mos old twin girls Love it!Aug 25, 2010

I have twin girls who are 18 mos. They started out with the plastic forks but as they got older the plastic was too thick and bulky! They had a hard time getting the fork through the food. I got two sets of the Paul Revere for a shower gift and recently broke them out...(I did not think I would use it when I got it :-) ) My girls LOVE it and they are just like Mom and Dad!!!
