I have been buying this set one place setting at a time over the past few years. The pieces retain a brilliant shine and are easy to care for. This is one of the bets prices I've ever seen, including department store discounts and offers directly from Oneida.

After using my previous stainless steel flatware for more than 30 years, I decided it was time for a change. This flatware is everything I hoped it would be. Beautiful, versatile and practical. I did follow the manufacturer's directions and changed my dishwasher powder from lemon-based to regular to avoid spotting and discoloration, but if I follow the manufacturer's instructions, this flatware should look good for many years to come.
As icing on the cake, so to speak, I hunted around (both at stores and online) to get the best price for this beautiful flatware. I found the best price on Amazon.com.

Like another member, we received this set as a wedding gift (also in 1988) and need some replacement pieces. We have enjoyed their timeless elegance and will buy several more sets to keep our collection up. We love the look and the quality is fantastic. I put almost EVERYTHING in the dishwasher and these pretties have held up against the test of time and even getting caught in the disposal a time or two - oops! (It's the spoons...they sneak down the drain when nobody's lookin'!) This will actually be the second time I've added to our set. The new silver will look 'newer' (duh) for a while, but it doesn't take long until their extra shine can't be told apart from the original pieces.

This was purchased to augment our existing sets for Thanksgiving. The prios sets are 15 years old and have held up amazingly well but, this new set is just that tiny bit more shiny and new. Quick delivery, much better price than the department stores, and this set is a staple in inventory if you wish to add (much) later. Excellent purchase.

I liked this silverware immediately when I saw it because it was simple and classic. After receiving this silverware, I enjoy eating with it more than I thought! The weight is nice as well as the dimensions. I would highly recommend it!
