these are the perfect size for my 3 and 1 year old. My kids like them because they look just like mommys and daddys. I have had any problems with cleaning them at all. just pop them into the dishwasher and they come out like they are brand new. I find that its they are much easier for my 1 year old to handle them the bulky toddler forks and spoons too.
Great utensils for little onesFeb 28, 2010
With all the plastic out there, and all the worry over BPA, I was so happy to find this set of stainless steel utensils for my 15 month old daughter - I wish I had found them sooner, and then the long, baby-feeding soon would have had some use. As is, the fork and small spoon are great and my now 17 month old is easily able to manage the fork and spear foods, which makes her happy. They also clean up beautifully. My only wish is that Oneida made a set of 3-4 of these forks.
I couldn't find this information before I purchased, but thought it might be helpful to others: to give an idea of the size of these pieces, the fork measures (approx) 4.25" long, from tip to tip, and the tines are about 1 inch long. It's a small fork, but perfect for a small hand.

I got this and the child set for my 4 year old and 2 year old. It is perfect. I like that it isn't an advertisement for a tv show as well. The baby spoon will come in handy for the new baby and the toddler spoon and fork is perfect for my two year old. I love it. Worthy investment.

This was a gift to our first grandson. Admittedly the parents were more pleased with the set than was little Johnny, but then he's only a few months old. Johnny thought they would make great drumsticks, parents thought they made meal-time easier. Quality of these items is good, and we picked them because they match the flatware we use in our household.

So nice to have these non-plastic forks and spoons. They are such a better shape for eating than those clunky plastic ones. These are now our gift of choice for 1st birthday celebrants.
