These are very pretty, I bought them to use as nice everyday and also occasionaly for special, also purchased them because they had no silver to tarnish, however the holes for the pepper were so small nothing would come out, the salt was better but not by much. I was using finely ground pepper and stuck a toothpick into the hole to make sure they were not blocked by an invisible plastic but they were open. Pretty but can't use.

It is very difficult to find well-made crystal salt and pepper shakers, and especially ones that are affordable. This was practically the only chocice between the very cheap 5&10 type and extremely high end. These fit the bill. As other reviewers mentioned it is good that they do not have a metal band which can corrode. I bought them as a gift and the recipient was extremely happy with them.

I wanted shakers with no metal tops due to corrosion salt can cause. I received these off my wish list from my son for my birthday and they are more beautiful than the picture.

Looks really good, nice and heavy and well balanced but holes for salt and pepper seem to be a little on the smaller size, flow is really slow. Be ready to do a lot of shaking.

I ordered two sets; one for each end of my dining table. They are gorgeous, sleek, not too contemporary, but the crystal catches the light and the sleek design feels right in your hand. Plus they are large enough to not need constant refilling. The order was filled promptly and arrived before holiday entertaining.
