Lovely, but over-sized platesDec 30, 2000
We have used our Mikasa Garden Harvest dinnerware for every-day use for 9 years and have been very pleased. However, I would suggest that before you purchase, you make sure your dishwasher can accommodate the large (11") dinner plates.

One of the most colorful and versatile pattern dinnerwareMar 27, 2002
By LYNETTE K. SECHE I find the dinnerware to be fantastic! I was looking for a pattern I could use different colored tablecloths and glassware. I found it! The dinnerware can be used for everyday and it looks great on a formal table also. I got two for the price of one. I can see myself getting years of use from this dinnerware.

Beautiful pattern, great selection of pieces, NOT durableNov 11, 2010
By DRHG00 I registered for basically the entire set of these dishes and serving pieces when I got married. I loved the pattern and the great selection of pieces. It looks beautiful to serve on both formal and casual meals. Over the past four years, however, I have chips in nearly half of my plates and one or two of my cereal bowls (and I'm pretty careful - never had a problem with any other dishware). It did not hold up as I would expect. I have had no problems with my serving/baking pieces and canisters. I plan to keep those and invest in cream dishware to replace my plates and bowls.

Beautiful, but...Dec 31, 2004

We have had this dinnerware for several years. It really is beautiful. However, it chips quite easily (or maybe we are just a bit rough with 4 kids!) and so I find I have to buy some new ones each year so I have enough unchipped plates when company comes.

Very pretty pattern, chips easily, difficult to find extrasMay 06, 2008
By EvilTwin We got this set about a year ago when Amazon had them on sale for a very good price. It is a very pretty pattern but what others say about the chipping is true. We have several plates with small chips out of them, most likely due to some rougher handling by teenagers in the house. Still I think they should be a bit more durable. It is also getting more difficult to find matching pieces to the set. I have had to resort to Ebay to find extra items. Still looking for a set of cereal bowls.
