 Classic PatternDec 30, 2002
I chose this pattern for my bridal registry and have had tons of compliments on it! The pieces are elegant and classic. We have used it for many different occasions and it has not been over or under stated. It is beautiful on the table or in the china cabinet. I highly reccommend this pattern.

I purchased this set over the holidays for a couple of dinner parties. It's a beautiful set that received many compliments. Very elegant and excellent accents to a variety of decor.
But if you look very closely at a few of the plates (three of them), we noticed flaws in the trim, where the plate edges were not 100% smooth and had a very slight dent. This was before I handwashed them, so I don't think it was my handling of the plates that caused the dents. I have used them about 4-5 times since Christmas and handwashed them each time. The trim is staying intact, not flaking as reviews have indicated. I use a soft sponge and soak them before washing.
This is a very economical set that gets a lot of notice from our dinner guests, so I don't mind the small imperfections. I'd love a flawless set, but I don't want to spend $100 a setting to get it! With two small children, I don't want to shed tears if a plate or bowl gets broken! Maybe in 10 years I'll replace this set with something of better quality, but until then, this set will do.
We did have a small mix-up, where Amazon sent me 2 settings (we purchased 8) of an older version of this pattern. To be fair, the boxes had the exact same pattern name, but the cup and saucer were designed differently. I emailed and they quickly sent us replacements, so that was solved to my satisfaction.
