This thing works, but not well. It does not do a great job of chopping up ingredients (such as nuts and berries). But it mixes okay. I've used better immersion blenders (Braun, for example), but I guess for under ten bucks, you get what you pay for.

This works really really great! I put a lot of use into this blender and honestly have it running longer than I should and it has yet to fail me. I use this for soap making only, so I have not used it for food blending purposes, but it does great at getting the liquid to trace and works well in the thick liquid.

I bought this to make quick, small sized Slushis not possible in blinders. Turns out, it works better than I thought.

I bought this not to mix smoothies but for lotion making, it does a pretty awesome job. You just plig in and go. The clean up is fast as nothing really gets stuck in the blade. The only drawback is that the handle gets hot after a while.

This thing overheated before I even had a chance to turn it on to use it! It got VERY warm the minute I plugged it in, and when I did try to use it, it literally worked for a short burst and shut down, and even the next day it wouldn't turn back on. It smelled like melting plastic and I was waiting for this thing to spark up and catch fire. This appliance is NOT UL listed, and while it is made up to look like it is, it does not work properly. Beware if you buy this one, go spend an extra ten bucks and get a brand you're familiar with. I don't be getting an off-brand appliance again!
