 Platinum Trim probably being discontinuedJan 03, 2011

BEWARE: I too was thrilled to see the Platinum trim Holiday china, but after some research, I found that there are only a few companion pieces for the platinum. I actually called Lenox to ask if I was missing something and was told that they are probably going to discontinue the Platinum due to customer disinterest, which I can certainly understand if they are not committing to making companion pieces. A lot of people would be interested in this trim. I however would be really upset if I had invested in the platinum only to find there was no way to complete the set in the future.

This is the most elegant holiday china. Your table will be stunning. Washes beautifully in the dishwasher on the delicate setting.
I have the "eternal" lenox china with the gold rim so I mix and match the two for large parties.

I did not know that the Lenox Holiday China came in platinum until I visited the website to price the gold holiday china. When I saw the platinum I immediately said this is the trim I really wanted. My regular china is by Lenox and it also has a platinum trim along with my crystal that has a platinum trim so I was thrilled to see the platinum. This fit my table setting perfectly. I didn't have to change out my crystal. The price was very reasonable, nearly half price from what I had been looking at from other sites (gold trim). I ordered six 5-piece place settings and the china arrived in a little over a week, very impressed with that.
