I couldn't believe my good fortune when I finally found this dish. It is impossible to find a SQUARE baker with a lid anywhere and Amazon came through (well, Le Creuset, too). My primary use for this wonderful baking dish is making the infamous "No Knead Bread" in it. With its square shape it yields a loaf that is perfect for sandwich slices. It is easy to clean and can also be put in the dishwasher. I am very happy with it - there are numerous uses for it!

Awesome, fantastic, pretty, old world and modern world all in one. Mac and cheese is delicious in this "French" creation. The packaging is perfect. Buy it...It's a lot cheaper from Amazon. I priced it on the Shopping Channels and it is almost double with shipping and handling and of course tax.

I have a bundle of the cherry Le Creuset, and my mom broke this piece... so I had to maintain my bundle complete and ordered an spare one... great to serve meals on special ocasions...

Again this expensive item was shipped with minimal protection and was received with a broken lid (see other reviews). The box from Le Creuset is not sufficient protection for UPS to deliver safely. The item needs to be re-packaged for delivery.
Get a clue Amazon!!
