Cracked all the way through in under 6 usesDec 01, 2010

I am a huge fan of Le Creuset's cast iron collection, and I was very excited to receive a stoneware 1/4 quart rectangular baking dish by Le Creuset as a gift. However, this dish cracked all the way through within 6 uses, though I take very good care of it both when it is in use and when it is shelved. Based on my experience I would not buy nor recommend Le Creauset stoneware.

Save Your Money - Cracked on the 5th UseFeb 09, 2012
By Long Time Shopper I've only had this baking dish for a bit over a year and now it's cracked all the way through on the 5th use. It worked great up until it cracked. I take very good care of all my cookware and bakeware and have always used this baking dish according to manufacturer's recommendations. I only hand wash this and it's never been in the freezer. I have several Le Creuset cast iron cookware and love those but I just can't recommend their stoneware. Based on other reviews for the stoneware (in all colors), seems like this is a very common problem that Le Creuset is aware of. I am extremely disappointed that Le Creuset would sell such an inferior product. I have 2 other Le Creuset stoneware baking dishes and I'm hoping they don't suffer the same fate. I've called Le Creuset customer service and I have to send the cracked dish back to them for them to inspect and then will determine if they will replace it or not, which can take 2-4 weeks. According to Le Creuset's website, these have a 5-year warranty but I have to pay to ship it back to them, which is almost half the price of the dish, and it still isn't a guarantee that it will be replaced. Save your money and buy something else. It just isn't worth the effort or money to have to deal with this.
AwesomeFeb 16, 2011
By Maria Marfori This pan is great and came at a good price. The shipped it in a timely manner and it was packaged well. It also cleans very easily and is the perfect size for me. Buy it, it's a great deal for Le Creuset.

My wife loved the smaller Le Creuset baking dishes so I got this larger one. She loves it. I love the food she makes with it! Enchiladas, cheesy peppers, cheesy other things. Mmmmm. It also cleans great in the dishwasher. Not sure if you're supposed to but it seems to work great.
