Nice product with lots of prosJul 10, 2010

I have these in the kiwi green and I love them. They're a great size for single servings of dips and for prepwork, and they're really, really easy to clean and keep clean (a HUGE plus for me since our dishwasher is forever on the fritz and never gets my other mise bowls clean). They also measure a 1/4 cup, which is awesome because my kitchen is a Bermuda Triangle for 1/4 cup dry measures and I'm constantly searching for something to measure that quantity. I was on the fence about them because I've not been a fan of most other silicone kitchen products that I've tried, but my husband bought them for me as an out of the blue gift and now I want more. His cousin is getting married in October, and I NEVER buy anything that isn't on the bride's registry, but I think I'm going to give her some of these in addition to some other kitchen stuff she's asked for. She cooks a lot and these actually are wonderfully useful. Might not have written a review for these if it weren't for the person complaining about the shipping's rating bringing down the average on what is actually a good product (can't we put those reviews somewhere else...please?).

I bought these to prep spices and herbs in the kitchen and they work fine. Pinching is easy and they are a good size. They aren't great for TINY spices like pepper because they are a little staticky but its not that big of an issue. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I received these as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. They're just what you would expect, flexible and multi purpose. I try to use them every time I get ready to bake something.
These handy cups help out in the prep stages so I can get everything ready all at once. Rather than what I used to do, measuring the ingredients out as I need them.
Whether you get Le Creuset Silicone Pinch Bowls or another set they will be a wonderful help no matter what you're baking.

I bought white ones, the better to see the contents. These cute, flexible, heat-resistant cups are machine-washable, which makes them perfect for measuring/adding liquid laundry detergent to the wash. Fill half-way and set in the washer on the laundry or on the center post. When the tub fills and agitates the flexible cup washes with the load and comes out clean. No more messy detergent cups.
And the flexible silicone cup won't harm even the most delicate laundry.

If you were expecting more, you might be somewhat delusional. If you were expecting less, that might be more problematic.
OK, the inside has a matte finish. The outside is glossy and has the "Le Creuset" brand name emblazoned under the top lip. Units of measure (2 fl oz, 1/4 cup, 60 ml) are embossed on the bottom. I have the white ones, and so far I have not been able to stain them with spices or condiments. I'll keep trying, though.
If this is the right size and material (silicone) for you, pick a color you like, buy it, and stop reading this crap!
