5Great Little StockpotDec 22, 2008
By BC in NC
This pot is great for cooking small amounts of pasta, soup, etc... when the 8 quart one is too much. We have not experienced the chipping problem another reviewer mentioned and we've had ours for well over 2 years. I recommend it highly but should you have a problem Le Creuset has one of the best warranties out there and I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem returning it for a new one.

1Paint chips can't be good...Feb 17, 2008
By J. Herritz
Please don't buy this pot! We have one we have been using for about a year, and we noticed paint chips when we were cleaning it. We have a teapot in the same line, and first noticed paint chips at the bottom of that one as well. We are going to contact Le Creuset to see if this product has been recalled - it seems to be a problem with this enamel-coated steel line.

5Great soup potOct 23, 2009
By Stormy J. Mochal "Stormy Jo"
I love this beauiful red pot! It is big enough for a large pot of soup and made of heavy enamel. A great pan for the price. I have not had any problems with the burning on the bottom like some reviewers did. I would recommend this product.

5Excellent Little StockpotFeb 26, 2009
By Jimmy K.
We've owned this pot for over 2 years and had no problems. Use it weekly for pasta, soups, stews, and to make our kitchen look pretty. Very easy to clean, sturdy handles. Have no issues with chipping paint. Very affordable and practical, yet beautiful. :) Found that the metal handles are very handy over gas burners since plastic handled cookware seems to burn a bit sometimes, especially if you have high btu burners.

I love this stock pot. It is large enough to make soups and stews for the whole family. Its easy to store and looks great on the stovetop.
