I purchased two sets of the Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles 12-piece Holiday Dinnerware. It is beautiful and very nice quality. I actually was expecting a stoneware or earthenware product. But it is just the opposite. I was somewhat hesitant to purchase the set because it is described as pink and I really did not want pink. The color is more of what I would call a county red. I would recommend this set. It really is beautiful.

Bought these dishes at the last minute before the Christmas holidays. They are lovely. I am happy with the fact that I don't have to bother with cups and saucers with this set. I agree with other reviewers that the color is much more of a country red than pink. LOVED the fact that I received the 4th service for 4 as a free bonus, and Amazon Prime delivery is worth every penny! My table looked wonderful, and all of my family and guests raved about my dishes. So glad that I made this choice.

I purchased 2 sets of these beautiful Christmas dishes. Johnson Brothers provide the quality and design that is classic. My mother had one of the original sets years ago and I loved it then. When I saw this set..I was delighted to purchase 2 sets. The Christmas table was beautiful with all the decorations. The dishes making the center of attraction. I will hope my children will keep these dishes for posterity down the line.

Have not rec'd this item that was listed in transit in december (12th) and I have left email for amazon.com= no answer to date...shipper said never rec'd shipment, and it probably never left warehouse!!!! SOMEONE HELP!!!!
