5Magnificent OpusJun 02, 2001

Previously, our stainless steel silverware was showing its age and not aging well at all. We decided to try Henckels because we have there steak knives and love them. A few of our relatives have 18/10 Silverware and say they love the luster and shine on them. The one thing I was worned about with buying a new silverware set was the weight and if the handles were comfortable. Well this set comes through on all of these things. The 18/10 is beautiful, so shiny, wash after wash. The handles, although thin are very comfortable and seem to feel as though they conform to your hand. My mother-in-law thought they would be uncomfortable as well, but found out at dinner time that they are so comfortable and just a nice every day set. I highly recommend this silverware.

5Prepare for the ComplimentsJan 16, 2004
By S. Peterson "theswedishchef"
I spent all day in the kitchen preparing for a dinner party and what do I get the most compliments on? My flatware. Our friends have gone crazy over the look and especially the feel of this great stuff. We could not be happier. We have had no problems with the knives. You won't be disappointed.

5Super look and feelJun 09, 2003

I love my set. I notice some have complained about the 2 piece construction on the knives, but mine are one piece (making me wonder if they have improved upon that flaw in the new sets). I love the feel of them in my hand and my whole family prefers them to other sets I have. Guests usually comment on the look and feel and want a set too. After numerous uses and washings, they are still looking like brand new.

4Excellent flatwareOct 21, 2001

I love this particular set from Henckels. The utensils feel very nice in your hand. The only complaint I have about it is that the utensils do get very slippery if your hands are wet.

The weight is very nice, not too heavy, but not light either. They just look darn cool at the dinner table.

1Rust on knivesNov 24, 2006
By R. Trinidad
Have been using the set for less than a month. Rust has started to form on the knives just where the blades are fused to the handles - right at the seams. Looks like rust starts from the inside of the handle. Unless design is changed, don't know how replacement knives will be any different. Too bad since knives are sharp and set is designed beautifully.
