Great blades, weak handlesJun 10, 2007
By D. Slone We have had these scissors for a couple of years. The blades have stayed sharp, but a crack that soon developed in one handle finally broke all the way through today, leaving them useless. We never used them to do messy chores because the blades do not separate (The Fiskars scissors get used then). We will buy a different type next time.

awesome kitchen shearsApr 13, 2009
By Jeff F These baby's cut like a warm knife through butter. This pair replaced a pair we had for 10 yrs. I've used them on some pretty tough plastic and there was absolutely no effort to get the shears to cut. The construction seems to be solid and the handle part is extra thick compared to our old pair. So far i havent had anything this set of shears wont cut through.

sharp scissorAug 17, 2009
By Bon This scissor is great. It is sharp and stays sharp. I have 3 of them. One I use for general use. One is for my knitting and crocheting. The third one is for the kitchen. It will cut through small fish bones and chicken ribs. I use it for cutting up vegetables and meat (a lot easier than a knife will). The scissors I got from Wal-Mart looked good, but were sprung. The plastic handled scissors from Wal-Mart are junk compared to this one. It costs twice as much as the cheap scissors, but it is worth a lot more too.

The best kitchen scissorsJun 18, 2009
By Fran

I use these scissors for everything when I'm cooking. I love using them to cut into raw chicken (even though the bone on chicken breasts) to make pieces smaller. The scissors are great for making chopped salads; just "cut" the lettuce and vegetables in the bowl to get a chopped salad. They are easy to wash and dry but I also place them in the dishwasher. I highly recommend these for all uses in the kitchen.

Great utility scissorsDec 30, 2007
By Erik S. Johnson
"What planet am I on?"
These are great, heavy-duty kitchen utility scissors. So good, my previous pair disappeared under suspicious conditions by small hands for kid projects. They feel just right in the hand, and I haven't found anything yet they wont cut easily.
