I recently purchased the Gourmet Settings Silver Tear 20-Piece Flatware Set and was in need of a tray that would fit my small, odd sized drawer. It also had to be sturdy and look nice enough to show off my new set. This J.A. Henckels International Flatware Tray was the perfect solution. It's very well made and has a beautiful finish to it. If you're anything like me, measurements really help so here are the (rough) inside measurements of the compartments: 9" long by 2.25" wide for the center four slots, and 9 3/4" long by 2" wide for the long ends. The inside height on all compartments is 2 inches.
It would easily fit a service for 12 in my heavy flatware pattern (see my uploaded picture above). With a lighter (flatter) set you could fit even more.
If this size tray works for your flatware then I highly recommend this item.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this tray for the price. Well-made and seems more substantial than some of the wooden trays I've seen at discount stores. Henckels is a great brand and this product only adds to their reputation. My new Oneida Flambe 45-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 8 looks great in it!

This is a great simple tray for cutlery. The size is perfect for anywhere from 8 to 12 six piece settings. You can't fit larger serving pieces. For the price, you can't go wrong.

This is a well built good looking flatware tray, and the price is outstanding for the quality.
On the front of the tray it has the J.A. Henckel trade mark embedded, and it actually looks pretty nice.
The size is great, each slot will hold at least twelve forks, spoons and other flatware, with the two end slots having enough room to place anything else you might need.
Very nice looking, and very durable in appearance it actually looks better than the photographic display.

Well, it's a flatware tray. It's a pretty standard size and should fit in your drawer, and you shouldn't have any problem fitting your utensils in as long as you don't have any oversized serving spoons, etc. It was quite a bit larger than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. The construction is sturdy (actually pretty heavy for wood tray) but aside from that, there's not much here. I gave it four stars, only because it's pretty bland. Yes, it's a flatware tray, but it's also 12 bucks. I saw a slightly cheaper mesh metal tray here on Amazon, and that had a bit more character to it (although the metal would probably be a bit more abrasive on the utensils.) Just something to consider. It gets the job done, but it'd be more worth the money if it was stained or painted black or something. Other than that, it's a fine product.
The bottom line:
- Large, sturdy, quality flatware tray.
- A bit bland for the price, but still worth it.
