Review of cervical pillowJan 10, 2007
By Kelli Allen This product worked great when initially purchased, however after about a month of use, it has lost its support and is very mushy. Would not buy again.

Makes a good knee pillow too!Aug 29, 2010
By mkb2atlantaga I know it's advertised as a cervical pillow, but because of its dimensions I purchased it to put behind my knees when I sleep. It's the perfect diameter and length for it unlike most neck or household pillows.
The item came well packed and arrived promptly. It is a little more firm than I had hoped, but perhaps I can break it in with a little use. I haven't washed it yet, but it appears well-made.
I'd recommend it to anyone else looking for a pillow of this type.

This was great while it lasted. Now my knees rub together as it's the foam has lost support so it's next to useless
Ultra hard firm neck pillow! Much too firm!Apr 30, 2012

I have a herniated disk for over 2 years and constantly on the quest for the elusive 'perfect pillow' that doesn't hurt my neck. This pillow was disappointment. It's so hard, it's like trying to use a rock. I have a different foam neck pillow (from Carol Wright Gifts), but its diameter is larger and it's not super firm like this one (it's less quality but it's usable due to the yield yet strong support plus cheaper).
This is foam too, yet much too firm and I usually want firm (I don't like overly too soft; I want support, but certainly not a rock-like pillow to rest/sleep on!).
This is overly too firm (to the point of being actually hard). It does not hold or support your neck, it doesn't yield even a little. I tried to 'soften' it with both of my knees kneeling on it and rocking around, but it didn't do any good (like I did nothing to it). It's pretty good at keeping knees from hurting while kneeling (on the couch that is). I wouldn't recommend this one unless you like almost rock-like firmness in a pillow that doesn't yield at all.
It only caused me more pain and that's definitely something you want to avoid in a pillow like this. Maybe they made this pillow harder and harder as the years went by as the more positive reviews are years back. I will try this under my knees when lying down to get some use out of it.
It has a nice removable cover with a zipper and seems to be quality fabric-wise, just the foam part is way too firm. Hope this info helps someone.
I love this pillow!Nov 05, 2011

I've bought several cervical neck pillows and I like this one best. It was a bit firm when I first got it so I stuck it behind my back while I read. It softened up fast and then conformed to my neck. They last too and the plush cover is very comfortable
