4definitely better than a regular pillowApr 25, 2010
By Madeline Reed
I'd been having a lot of trouble sleeping with a regular pillow and when I got this one, my sleep improved a lot. It's pretty comfortable but it flattens out quite a bit once it settles into place. Overall, it's so-so. It's the only memory foam pillow that I've ever bought, so I'm not sure how it compares to others, but it is much better than an ordinary pillow.

5A well supporting pillowApr 09, 2011
By Chris F "root"
I have probably owned 10-15 memory foam pillows and 3 memory foam mattress. I have several neck and back problems and am very picky as such. I actually bought this pillow off Amazon about 6 months ago and it has been my nightly pillow since then. I've been fairly impressed with the amount of neckaches I've woken up with since (previously had tried a 125$ down feather pillow). I'm still shopping around for the perfect pillow, as I don't think this is it, but 15 pillows later and 7 years I still haven't found one. This really is a great one though, especially for the price. It deserves a full 5 stars, because if it passed my test - it should pass anyone's :-)

BTW it is medium firmness - I can't accurately quantify it with a lb density rating, I can just state from a lot of personal experience it is neither soft or hard, dead in the middle. It really comes down to personal preference and needs on what firmness level you need.

Anyways it's a great pillow and well supports and contours to your neck and head! Only special thing I've noticed about this pillow as opposed to most the other, is it has a weird temperature sensitivity. That is the longer you lie on it, the more heat is spread to it, the softer it gets (which is normal - to a degree). However this one takes several minutes for it to really start to soften up, once it does though its so much better. However if you get up for 30seconds it's gone. Likewise the colder it is in your room the longer it will take to conform. The above is true for all memory foam BTW, I just thought this always acted a bit different and worth noting. I also believe no one other then myself would probably notice this, lol. I know my wife couldn't tell at all. Pillows are one of the few things I'm very meticulous about.

I find most contoured pillows like this are best supporting for back sleepers (non-sensitive side sleepers are fine too). I can only sleep on my back so it works out well for me.

This is fantastic, it conforms just right, nice and low so it aligns my spine. I have not had such good sleep in my own bed. I recommend.

I've tried several orthopedic pillows and so far this one is the best. It's a bit firm but you get used to it.

This pillow is very hard and I am not happy with it at all. I am back using my old one.
