I had originally purchased these for me due to heel pain, but my husband, who suddenly became bed bound used them to prevent his heels from breaking down and causing bed sores. We rubbed his feet with Kerasal Exfoliant and then applied the heel pillows. Within a short time, his dead, dry skin began to peel off. The other benefit was due to a neurological problem, he cannot feel anything from the waist down, but can move his feet and legs. With the pillows on, he did not injure himself by not being able to feel one foot scratching the other.

This product was exactly as specified in the description. However, I discovered that enclosing one's feet can sometimes be rather hot, even though protecting them is the plan. This is not a fault of the product, but a discovery made by the consumer!

It was not what we needed, but it would have cost almost as much to send it back as it cost to begin with. It was hard to know from the picture and description that it was actually two small pillows. Even though we did not find it to be what we wanted, the pillows are well-made.
