This cooler really kept my wine cool. The key is to remember chilling the wine before hand, and this cooler will help maintain its coldness for a long time. Well, long enough for me to finish the whole bottle. :) Note that this is not intended to be an ice bucket, as the body is too cylindrical and narrow to accommodate both ice and the bottle. I found that as long as the wine is sufficient cold to begin with, then this device will do its job wonderfully. I see sometimes restaurants use a plastic version of this, but it is a lot classier and elegant having one with the stainless steel finish. Also this got more "body" to keep the bottle stable and steady on my table.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He was happy with the stainless steel appearance but was not quite sure the best way to utilize it. He stored it in the freezer but that did not much to keep the bottle chilled. He finally just starting putting ice in the bottom and around the bottle. It works but maybe not as good as others.
