Four stars for protection/ appearance, one star for durabilityJul 24, 2008

I care for a man with Alzheimer's who is completely incontinent. Even though he wears diapers and several other protective layers, he floods the bed every night. Lately that flooding has traveled to the pillows.
Vinyl pillow protectors are a good option, but are hardly comfortable or breathable. So I was happy to find these terry pillow covers that water proof the pillow. You can use these as a pillow case, and they zip firmly shut.
They did a fairly good job of protecting the pillow, which was completely dry every morning I checked it. These protectors also wash and dry very easily.
So why one star? After three or four washes, the seams began coming apart. Incontinence products have got to be durable to go through multiple washes. These aren't.
If you have a child or senior who only occasionally wets the bed, you won't need to wash these covers as much and they may be a satisfactory option. But for constant bed-wetters whose linens require daily laundering, skip these otherwise-smart terry pillow protectors.

Plush and 100% waterproofJun 12, 2007

My daughter is 3 years old and recently potty trained. She still has accidents here and there at night and somehow she was managing to drench her pillow. We bought her other waterproof pillow case covers and she would wake up drenched in sweat, crying. Totally not worth it. So, we decided to try this one as a last resort and it works wonderfully! It's nice and soft, not too thick that it makes it hard to get your pillowcase on, and it works 100%. If it ever wears out, we will definitely be buying another one of this brand.

Good product for the priceAug 08, 2007

I purchased these pillow covers for my pillows and they work great. The only problem that I've found is that they do trap some air when you first put them on. This makes the pillows uncomfortable. If you push the air out before you zip them they do work good for protecting your pillows. These covers did not cost as much as some others I looked at but do the same job. I highly recommend them.

Waterproof and ComfortableMar 23, 2007
By sallysue These terry pillow protectors are soft and comfortable, unlike most waterproof protectors. They are well made and zip closed. They are even softer after being machine washed.

Love them!Jan 25, 2008

I bought these for my son who is disabled and I put the pillow covers on the pillows I place between his legs when he's laying down. With the the other water proof covers the pillow cases wouldn't stay on. Since these are terry cloth on the outside they stay on the pillows. The water proof works great. I love them and will be getting some more soon, just to have extra ones.
