Circulon tea kettleApr 09, 2008
By Kenneth C. Uhlir Circulon 2-1/2-Quart Tea Kettle, Red: We were very dissapointed in this product. It looks terrific, but it had a terrible chemical taste in the water after we boiled it. I was unable wo wash out the bad taste so I bought a different tea kettle. I contacted the Manufacture about the product and they have shipped me a new one for free to test out and report back to them, until I test it out, I would be careful about buying this tea kettle.

A Tea Kettle worth buying.Feb 09, 2008
By John W.

This is a very well designed tea pot.
The handle is soft and easy to grip - even when boiling water. When water boils the kettle makes a sound reminiscent of a train whistle.
The button for flipping the spout cap is easy to depress and positioned close to the top.
We left the tea pot on for longer than usual and found that we could still lift the pot without burning our hands. We recommend this tea pot over a similar Caphalon tea pot model because it not only looks good, feels good to the touch, but is easy to control when full. Unlike the Cahphalon the grip does not melt and you cannot be burned by the metal underneath the grip. It protects the entire length of the handle.

Great design but bad tasteMay 24, 2008
By John Scott We really liked the design and function of this kettle but after a couple of months of use a nasty chemical taste began to appear in the water - we couldn't remove it either. Will return to the shop and see what they say.
Great Kettle, Needs ImprovementMay 30, 2011
By RDCprc I bought this for my induction burner. I liked everything about it, nicely finished, easy to get my hand in to wipe out, the handle was comfortable and didn't get hot, the whistle was great - starts low and gets louder. My problem is that I dropped it (2nd week of owning) and the pusher broke off and it didn't even land on the pusher - it landed flat on the base.
The refund was perfect.
I'd buy this again if the pusher was made of metal or something that wouldn't break so easily.
Does What A Tea Kettle ShouldMay 09, 2008
By boggle10 This is a very good Tea Kettle overall. It looks great and has a whistle that can easily be heard from a good distance away. It actually sounds more like a freight train than a high pitched whistle.
That being said, it's not as flat on the bottom as I would have liked, thereby slowing the time to boil on my flattop stove. It's also a little awkward to pour if there is only a small amount of water in it.
Even with those shortcoming, I would still recommend it. It's certainly a better than average tea kettle at a good price.
