5Chicago Cutlery RocksDec 25, 2008

I have been using this paring knife for over 50 years. My mom and dad had one, and I now have one. Chicago cutlery is the best value in knives. This paring knife is perfectly balanced and just the right shape and length. I would never use any other paring knife. I bought a high end paring knife, and it broke with in a year. Could have bought 10 of these for the same price.

This is a very nice knife. It is comfortable to use and the wood is beautiful. Just be sure to hand wash to keep the wood in good shape.

5SharpJan 16, 2009
By K. Townsend "Avid Reader"
Well, it is Chicago Cutlery, so sharp is what you get!! I love the traditional edges on these and have never been a fan of serrated edges except for my steak knives. Due to the natural wood, you need to keep the handles oiled or they will dry out. They hold an edge very well, but keep your rattail handy for when it burrs down. Overall, very happy with this product.

5comfortable in my handMar 08, 2011

I have osteoarthritis in my hands. This knife has a chunky wood handle which makes it easier for me to hold versus a thinner handled one. It's very comfortable for me to peel potatoes the way I'm accustomed to peeling them. I ordered this knife for this reason and I'm very pleased with it.

My mom had one of these knives for as long as I could remember and then it finally saw its last tomato. I bought her 2 for Christmas and she said it was the best present she got this year!! Chicago Cutlery is always a good choice. Buyer was A++++; shipping/packaging was top notch.
