Do I need an electrical outlet?
No. The FreshSpa does not need electricity or batteries. It is hydro-powered by your water pressure.
Does the FreshSpa have warm water?
Only if warm water is coming out of your cold water line, FreshSpa has no heater and does not attach to your hot water line.

I purchased another brand of bidget for $39.95 (because I'm cheap) and it would not stop leaking and I tried everything. It had very poor quality parts and they were just too flimzy to stand up to 40-50 lbs of water pressure. I sent it back and Amazon immediately refunded my money. I ordered the Brondell FreshSpa FS-10 WOW - it was easily installed and did everything that the advertisement said it would do. The adjustable nozzel is fantastic for me and my wife. I had surgery a few years ago and every time I need to clean myself it would take a half roll of high quality toilet paper. With the FreshSpa FS-10 I use one disposal towell to dry myself and I feel clean and am clean. I don't understand why we Americans don't take advantage of this type of product more often. Thank you Brondell for providing such an excellent product.

Installation was easy. First, I had to buy a flexible hose to replace the existing copper pipe that ran from the existing T-valve to the bottom of the tank. Then I just followed the installation instructions without any problems. I particularly liked the self-cleaning feature of this bidet since it cleans the nozzle with a turn of the control knob. I have seen a bidet without the cleaning feature and the nozzle showed traces of feces...yikes! The supplied brass T-connector and the brass internals of the bidet give further assurance against leakage compared to those models that come with plastic T-connector and internals. Water pressure is adjustable from the control knob and/or from the T-valve. I am very happy with this purchase and so is my wife.

At first I was skeptical about the idea of having a bidet. But when I tried a brondell unit for the first time my perspective was completely changed. We got our fresh spa this christmas and we love it!!! Ever since we got it I have been wondering why hasn't the US embraced having bidets in the home already. It was really simple to setup and so easy to use. Also It is such an affordable price!!! I mean when you think about it when it comes to walking away from the bathroom feeling clean...this just makes sense.

This item is just what it says it is! Works perfectly. Easy to install! Only small issue was packaging does not come with a flexible hose that fits from water cut-off to toilet itself. My metal pipe would not give so I had to go to hardware store to pick-up a flexible water line. It was $3.49 plus tax so no big deal. This allowed me to hook the bidet water supply up with no problem at all. I would suggest that if you do not have a flexible hose already on your toilet, that you buy one before you begin inslallation so that you will not have to stop in the middle of your work. Not counting the time going to the store, it took about 15 minutes to hook everything up and test the device. I am ordering another right now for my other bathroom. Wake up Americans and clean those bottoms!!!

Before purchasing this bidet attachment, I looked at others and checked out their reviews, construction details, etc. Many bidet attachments have plastic internal parts. Some people have complained of water leaks. The last thing I would want is water damage in my house. I chose this one because it has a brass internal valve, brass 3/8" T-valve, backflow prevention valve, nozzle positioning (3 settings) and comes with a high quality braided PVC hose. It is solidly built and guaranteed not to leak. It is a great item that we will be using every day. Note: Like most bidet attachments of this type, since the unit is installed between the toilet and the toilet seat, the rear of the toilet seat will be around 5mm higher. That is not a problem for us, but a heavy person might consider adding toilet seat bumpers to the rear of the seat. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
