This device is perhaps one of the most closely held secrets of the European hygiene regime. Subject to jokes and misinformation as well as simple ignorance of how such a thing could work has kept it out of the toileting facilities of all but the rich and worldly. The simple truth is that the Bio Bidet (since that is the one I have personal knowledge of) should be included as standard equipment on the basic toilet installed in every bathroom. Sanitation as well as health issues that can be prevented or alleviated far outweigh any cost factor or learning curve (watch a video on line if you are shy and read the directions). They are presumed by many to be sexually oriented for quick refreshing after intimacy, but the truth is that they would be an unbelievable aid to the female population in their pre-menopausal years and a boon to all elderly who would prefer to take care of their own personal hygiene as long as possible. This simple and effective device covers all of these needs and nearly eliminates the need for more than a few sheets of tissue to insure dryness. It is simple and effective. It restores dignity to those who might have difficulty with the simplest of life's tasks such as maintaining anal and perineal cleanliness. I could not recommend a product more highly. This is not a luxury item, it is an aid to daily living. If you have aging parents, consider installing one for them and make sure they are comfortable with how it works. Five stars. Very simple to install.
