Defective designDec 18, 2010
By Davido We bought this Biobidet BB-800 to replace a bidet we had for years that unfortunately developed a leak (a different make, that is now discontinued in the US). We returned this Biobidet BB-800 after a week.
Here are the problems:
1) These electronic bidets require that they recognize someone is on the seat before they'll let you operate the buttons. For me it was fine, but for my wife about half the time it wouldn't recognize she was on the seat. In those cases none of the buttons would work. That was a show-stopper. I suspect if weight is distributed on the seat in a certain way that its sensor mechanism fails.
2) The spray was too weak. Even if you put it on the highest power it wouldn't clean as well as our older bidet that we were replacing. It has an enema setting but I didn't particularly want to use that. Your choice is too weak or an enema.
3) It wouldn't remember the settings. We'd always put the spray power on the highest setting and also have to adjust the nozzle positions as they weren't in the right place for us by default. But it wouldn't remember this. We'd have to make the same adjustments every time we sat on the seat.
This seat is not sold by Amazon directly. We met initial resistance from the seller about returning it but thankfully they relented when we communicated we'd be filing a claim through Amazon. Good on the seller for coming around, but their initial reaction (paraphrased: "you can't return it, take it up with the manufacturer through their warranty") is a potential headache for anyone wanting to purchase this. I think the seller's initial reluctance was because once we returned it he wouldn't be able to return it to BioBidet (the manufacturer). Indeed BioBidet's website says you can't return their products. Not exactly a vote of confidence in their own products.
In summary: A big disappointment due to poor design choices, and a potentially unfriendly return policy. Don't risk it.
Bio Bidet BB-800Feb 03, 2012
By Greg Caldwell I selected the Bio-Bidet BB-800, rather than the BB-1000, because I didn't like the idea of having a remote control that could get lost or moved. I am very pleased with the BB-800. It arrived after a short wait and was in perfect condition. I installed the seat myself with no serious difficulty (I put one small clamp-like piece upside down and the seat would not slide onto the clamp. I reversed the piece and the seat slid right on). The BB-800 works exactly as advertised. I have had no problem with water pressure, cleaning, reliability, etc. It works great. Visitors to my house are very surprised and seem to need lessons. One visitor took a picture of it! If I had to make the choice again, I would still choose the BB-800 rather than the BB-1000, but it is difficult for older people to look down and see the control panel of the BB-800 while sitting on the toilet. For older people, the BB-1000 might be easier because they could hold the control in their hands. Overall, a great product.

very pleasedSep 08, 2011
By Jack B This is a solid bidet. I own a restaurant where we have 2 stall bathrooms in the men and women's and while remodeling the place to upgrade the 'class factor' I chose this model from Bio Bidet. I own the BB-1000 at home but for my restaurant I downgraded a tad to the 800 to save myself a total of $200. I got four of these in total and my staff gets several compliments about the bathroom. I am very pleased with this as it is also a great conversation starter. I believe in just a few years, most every American home will have a bidet. These are great.
I figured, if my customers pay $30-50 for a dish, then they should experience the best while they are in my restaurant and that includes the restrooms.
Functionality is great and no technical problems so far. Each one is used dozens of times a day and all four are being troopers. I do think I will remove the lids, though, to avoid having a customer accidentally sit on one and break it.

Bio Bidet prestige white/ElongatedJun 07, 2010
By C. shah It is beautiful piece. It looks very " cute " after installation and very easy to operate. I got it installed in my 12 yrs old son's bathroon. He loves it.
Now my 14 yrs old son wants one in his bathroom. I am getting one for him as I like it.
