I bought this after one of my friends got one after his trip to Korea where he used this at the hotel he was staying. His rave reviews helped but I also independently did some research and decided based on the reviews from several sources. This was one of the best investments I ever made. Now I hate using the bathroom anywhere else. It's so much more hygienic, and I don't buy as much toilet paper so it's good for the environment and for my bottom line (no pun intended).
Installation: First, I was a little intimidated by the installation (any plumbing issue makes me nervous) but it was surprisingly straightforward and easy. Take off the existing toilet seat and the water hose things (see, I don't even know what they are called but I did the installation fine) and replace them with the Bio Bidet ones, adding a T-valve to get water to the toilet and to the bidet. The water comes directly from the wall valve and not the toilet tank (so it's CLEAN water and doesn't interfere with the flushing), while the built in bidet tank heats the water. Oh, and it does need to be plugged in to an outlet.
Heated water: I LOVE the adjustable water temperature and it's not too hot that you'd accidentally burn you tush.
Heated seat: What's even better than the warm water is the heated toilet seats, also adjustable. Whoever invented this feature deserves a prize. Very smartly designed, it is not always on but it activates when you sit down so it's energy efficient and won't overheat. It is so comfortable and relaxing, in contrast to the cold seats that jolt your body into shock on the cold winter mornings after you've sleepily stumbled to the bathroom and.. yeeek. Glad I got this model to get this feature because it really is awesome. Although now, I am apt to doze off while sitting there in the morning.
3-in-1 nozzle- This is the only bidet I saw with one nozzle containing three ports for three cleaning options: the posterior wash, feminine wash, and vortex enema wash. One nozzle means less moving parts that could break or get dirty so it seems like a great feature. You can adjust the positions and the pressure of the water streams to suit your comfort level. Another cool feature on this bidet is that the water stream on this bidet is mixed with air bubbles to create an aerated effect. I loved the video on their website that shows the nozzle with the bubbly water.[...]
Warm air dryer: it blow dries your tush with nice warm air. What more can I say?
Odor neutralizer: There is a unscented deodorizer that contains carbon filter that eliminates some odors in the bathroom.
Kid friendly: My two toddler nephews came to visit and the Bio Bidet was very child-safe. They mashed on the buttons of the control panel and nothing happened since the seat will not work unless it detects someone sitting on it. The Bio Bidet control panel kind of looks like a TV remote controller and it actually wound up in my living room a few times. The heated seats or the heated water were no concern even if they were able to turn it on because they are not hot enough to cause any injury.
Self clean feature: This means that water will be drained over the nozzle before and after each use so no worry that there is dirty, stagnant water in the nozzle.
Customer Service: I did have a few clarifications about the installation so I contacted the customer service department and was able to get my questions answered very quickly. GREAT service.

I thought I had written a review on Amazon about my BB-1000 but I guess I didn't.
Not many household appliances can actually change your life but this bidet has been a very positive force in my house.
The entire concept of this bidet is revolutionary when it comes to our hygiene.
My son suffers from a condition that makes it almost impossible for him to have decent BMs because his muscles simply cannot do the job.
There is a feature on this bidet called the enema wash.
At first he was afraid of it and it might be uncomfortable at first but the effect is tremendous.
I, myself, suffer from inflammation once in a while and the cooling sensation my bidet provides for me is very relieving.
The worksmanship on this bidet is superb, sturdy, and dependable. It was manufactured in South Korea, not China, and this model has been on the market for a while now and has been upgraded a few times to improve quality and features. I did own the older version and loved it and it is now being used at my wife's office. We purchased a newer one for my son and for our bathroom as well.
Once you sit on the seat, your cheeks are treated to a warm seat. No longer will we have to be subjected to the cold shock of porcelain.
The automatic deodorizer starts up as soon as I sit- this is nice.
I always start off with the enema. This is not comfortable by any means but it will clean you out very well. An enema is not intended to be for comfort but for relief.
Afterwards, I use the posterior wash with massage function.
If water has crept up along too wide of an area then I use the dryer function. This is a pleasantly warm air flow that will more or less dry your area for you. I always found that I did have to pat myself dry with toilet paper at the end but the amount of toilet paper that I do use is nothing compared to what I had to use before having a bidet. Maybe 2-3 squares. I would imagine that a small towel kept by the toilet would suffice just as well.
I was so thoroughly and continuously impressed by our bidets that I had decided to install several similar models at work.
This is a product that is at a very reasonable price and has more than surpassed my expectations.

I'm very plesantly surprised by this product, having only experienced the once in Japanese hotel rooms prior. The installation was a snap and after 4 weeks of usage the product continues to work great.

Last year, my dad wanted a bidet for his birthday so I got him one of those starter ones for about $50. I can't know how much he used it but soon afterwards he asked me to get him one of these types instead because it was difficult for him to get the spray on the cheap one to thoroughly clean him and he also didn't like the shock of cold water.
For those who believe that a spray bottle or one of the cheaper bidets are comparable to one like the BB-1000, you can and would only believe that if you have never tried this.
Firstly, being able to move the nozzle means a lot since my dad is unable to scoot back or forth on his own once he sits down so his position on the toilet varies each time. On this new bidet, the nozzle can be programmed to move forward to spray him in the correct area.
The warm water is very comforting and a must-have.
For someone who is far along in years and with very poor eye-sight, my dad is able to use the remote control on his own. Instead of using a knob or control on the side, the remote is wireless and we have it mounted on the side of the sink cabinet by the toilet paper holder for easy access. The main buttons are about the size of a quarter, maybe a little bigger while the smaller controls are about nickel sized. And then there are also some more oblong buttons. Every aspect of the bidet seat can be customized with these buttons.
The heated seat is my personal favorite. We live by Lake Michigan so we get a very cold front and the heated seat is a small but significant blessing.
The water spray is pretty powerful. The lowest setting is just like a gentle rinse while the highest is so powerful it will shoot you off the commode. I prefer 2 lights on posterior wash but my dad uses 3 on feminine wash. Before someone reads that and laughs, let me clarify the reason why my dad uses the feminine wash.
The posterior wash is much more powerful than the feminine wash. The reason why is because when I examined the nozzle, there are 3 sets of holes. The top one has one hole which is the enema wash, the second is a set of 9 holes which is the feminine wash, and the third is a set of 3 holes for posterior wash. From order of strongest to most gentle it is enema, posterior, and feminine.
The single holed wash for enema is going to be the strongest water stream you'll feel on your body during your entire life. It is a flow of water that becomes pressurized and focused into one mega stream as it goes through that one hole.
The 9 holes for the feminine wash allow the water to disperse into a gentler mist type of spray. The feminine wash is usually meant for a female but with the nozzle selection my dad is able to get his rear washed with it as well. He does not like the weak rinse with the first light but cannot bear the power of the posterior wash since he is elderly and more sensitive so the feminine wash is the perfect balance for him. I recommend anyone who is sensitive and has thinner skin to try the feminine wash if the posterior is too much for you.
The 3 holes for the posterior wash is basically 3x stronger than the feminine wash since there are less openings for the water to flow out of. This is a very effective cleaning method and the only reason I need toilet paper now is to dab off excess water.
All in all, this is an astronomical difference from the starter bidet we initially had.

I am a caregiver to a very elderly and very sick resident whose mind is still brilliant and quick witted but his body did not stay forever young like his mind. His son recently purchased this bidet for him to assist with his daily routine. This remarkable product is going to put me out of a job (jk). I no longer have to assist him in the bathroom other than with sitting down and getting up. This is both great for him and also for myself. I've used one way back during my graduation trip to Italy and could not afford one now on my salary but I was familiar with it and didn't freak out like the other caregivers when they saw it for the first time.
All I know is that this seat gives him back his independence and to those at his age, independence means so much.
Btw, the remote control is especially handy since he can hold it in his hands while he is on the toilet so he has full control for every second he is using it.
Another GREAT feature on this thing is that the nozzle moves so that he doesn't have to. Having to move an elderly resident on a toilet is tricky and uncomfortable for the resident so this means a great deal to him. I cannot begin to talk about how many caregivers incorrectly move residents and thus cause them pain.
I would recommend this to anyone but especially if you are a caregiver or someone who is having a difficult time making it to the bathroom on their own.
