5Sound engineer -found a set for my cubeFeb 10, 2012
By A. Haukas "Phenoum"
Needed something sufficient for my cube while providing great sound - obviously price was a factor and these have not disappointed.

As mentioned I am a FOH sound engineer as well so did need something with a good sound and can say that while i dont use these to mix, they're more than sufficient for my casual listening at work (diff job). The reviews on here are pretty harsh on the connector issue, but I take particular care of my stuff so dont see this being an issue ever. If it's in your pocket and getting pulled on all the time then that'd be up to you.

Bottom line - prob best set you can find if you get them under $30 - holding their sound very well.

5Looking for casual set for my day jobFeb 10, 2012
By AnnyDee
Bought these after a decent amount of looking around for a small set of cans that would provide good sound and fit my price range. Was able to pick these up for $25 and enjoy them on a daily basis. These are left at work in my cubicle, so i'm not torquing the plug or transporting these at all - which is why i wasnt worried about the connector on them. And even if that were to go i'd just buy, solder, and replace the tip myself :)

Sound range is great for my needs - noise "isolation" isnt really a feature of these, but they do a great job of allowing me to keep focused at work w/o any distractions.

Had these for 6 months now and not a single issue. Great buy!

2Didn't last longer than a few months...Nice when it workedFeb 28, 2011
By MommyJ "~*Mommy J*~"
Didn't Last longer than a few months. This came in my school kit for film and media. The sound was okay when it was working. Nothing amazing, but good enough for what i needed and the price of them (they were selling 40 dollars in my school store). After about 4 months of use, the part near the audio jack started to separate and fray. They were completely unusable after that. I posted pictures so you know what i am talking about.

5Less money more soundJan 05, 2011

These are fantastic for the money. I was suprised by their size when they arrived and I was worried they would not fit on my head (this was my only complaint at first impression) but when I put them on they fit. Originally they would not stay on well though if i turned my head forward they would slip off. I soon realized that if you pull them down on your head (gently: This should not be uncomfortable) they sit well around the ears and comfortably on the top of the head while staying sturdy. My complaint soon turned into enjoyment. THEY'RE SO LIGHT! If you've pulled them down enough to tighten around the head they are snug and you can hardly feel them. This was perfect because they are replacing my gaming headset. 2nd the sound quality is quite good for this price range. No it is not the greatest thing you will ever hear but it was highly competitive with my klipsch in ear headphones. Now I know you shouldn't compare over ear to in ear because advantage goes to over ear but for 25 bucks to compete (and in many ways outperform) my 80 dollar klipsch in ears, that is a pleasant suprise. Overall these made my day!

2Nice, but little low end bassFeb 07, 2009
By R. Snyder "whatsthedeal"
A quality product, but it has too little low end bass. I use them to edit soundtracks on home videos and animations.
