A Spatula for displayOct 06, 2006

This is a very well made turner. Just like all of the All-Clad kitchen utensils I have purchased. It is of very nice stainless steel. It was the reason I started displaying my cook ware. It is construced very sturdy and it is comfortable in the hand. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I think the angle to the head from the handle should be a little sharper to fit in skillets better and the edge is not beveled. I took my sharpening stones and gave the front of the spatula a bevel, so it slides under food better, and I enjoy it much better now.

Love ItFeb 10, 2006

I use this tool a lot and I love it. I use my smaller skillets almost dailey and this works well with them. When I'm using my larger skillets and saute pan (bigger cuts of meat), I use a larger spatula. It's beautiful and has a nice weight to it. It fits well in my hands. Clean up is easy, either hand wash or throw it in the dishwasher.

it's so sturdy that it's too heavySep 21, 2008
By anonymous i really, really, really wanted to like this product. i first expected a flat front because i want to drag straight across the surface on my cast-iron skillet. well, the front is slightly curved, though that might be better for strictly flipping. but the biggest problem is that because it's so hefty, it's quite heavy. it's probably fine for occasional flipping, but since i use to saute and hold it for a while, the weight can tire your arm. this thing is very solid!
so i'm back to looking for a lighter stainless steel cooking utensil.
