When I use this, I am doing some serious frying. This allows me to move and turn food without splashing a lot of oil. Removing cooked food from oil is also easy because the large holes drain grease well. This is best used with at least a 10" skillet. Otherwise you won't have enough room to work.
It's a nice and heavy tool and fits well in my hand. As with all All Clad stainless, it's beautiful and cleans up easily -- handwash or throw it in the diswasher.

Believe it or not I bought this turner for grilling. It is a little large for most of the pans I use in the house. I have used All-Clad's other turner for grilling before but it was not quite large enough. I love the beafy all stainless construction. It seems like lots of other utensils you buy for the grill are cheaply made and still cost as much as this one. For what I intend to use if for I could not think of any thing better.

This little guy is great! Well not so little really its actually quite big, long and heavy. Weak people need not purchase this. It also could double as a weapon ... I like things with multiple purposes so its an ideal purchase! If you are going to use it in a skillet a 11" skillet is the smallest size this will work in, for smaller skillets get the smaller size. This is also something you won't want to forget to put in your will as you get older ... it will infact last much longer than you will.

I love this turner so much I have decided to purchase a lot more from All-Clad in the future. I wish more of their products were available on amazon, but currently they aren't -- Solid, sturdy, slick and shiney!

Yes, All Clad can be a little pricey, but you pay for quality. The weight of the product is very solid. I love it.
