a disaster in more than one wayAug 09, 2009
By merzbow If I was hired to design worse packaging than this came shipped in, I would be hard-pressed to do so. First, the cardboard box was not double-walled, a necessity with a long, heavy screen like this. Second, the screen itself was "suspended" in four thin pieces of foam that broke apart easily. Result was a huge dent on the back, courtesy of somebody in the delivery chain. Screen itself came down but wouldn't come up without spending 15 minutes fighting it, and was full of waves also. Very poor showing by both Amazon and Da-Lite.
